I have mixed results with purple coneflowers in my garden. It frequently sports black leaves and doesn’t produce the flowers that I adore on my neighbor’s plants. This year, however, most of the coneflowers are lovely and the bees seem to be enjoying them, too!
These beautiful tall grasses rock back and forth in the wind – mesmerizing and calming to watch on a windy day. Though they don’t sport fabulously colored flowers, they are still one of my favorite elements in the garden.
