Santa’s Workshop and a Winner!

thumbnail_pictapgo-image-2

Good Morning, Quilters!

I’m still doing a bit of last minute shopping and found Santa’s workshop right in my hometown of Stillwater, Minnesota!  Tom Bethke, who works as Santa at local events doubles as an elf. All year long he cuts and saws, making hundreds of wood toys for children all over the world.

He offers a wide variety of very well made toys–check out his website, Kringle Workshops HERE

Need a Quick Gift or Christmas Decoration?

Christmas Coasters, FMQ, Kennedy

Good Morning, Quilters!

It is a very busy time of year at the Kennedy household as all of my six children come home for Christmas.  The house is in an uproar with husbands, boyfriends, dogs and GRANDBABIES!!!!  We are shopping, baking, cooking, wrapping, watching Christmas movies (My favorites: We’re No Angels and Christmas in Connecticut–the old one)

In addition, there are big changes in my sewing room–a sneak peek tomorrow!

And to my great disappointment, my trusty camera is on the fritz!  ARGH!

LAST MINUTE PROJECTS

What about YOU? How are you spending your last weeks of 2016?  Is it busy at YOUR house?  Are you doing any stitching?

Sunflower Quilt Show-Vote for YOUR Favorite!

Good Morning, Quilters!

Welcome, welcome!

The doors are open to our Sunflowers in December Quilt Show!  The quilts are all free motion quilting samplers from our recent online FREE machine quilt-a-long HERE

One of the best things about a quilt show like this is seeing the individuality of each quilt–even when we all started with the same basic concept and composition.  The quilts are very beautiful and very creative!  Thank you to all who participated!

BEST OF SHOW

Today’s show is being judged by YOU-the viewers.  Please vote on your favorite.  The name of the artist is below the quilt and please include the number if there is one.  (Do try to evaluate each quilt based on the quilt itself and not the photography–quilt photography is very tricky!)

The winner (announced on Friday, December 23) will receive a box of sewing goodies–thread, fabric and notions from The Inbox Jaunt as well as bragging rights!
