Each lesson ends with everyone’s favorite–A TRUNK SHOW!

Of course…more techniques, inspiration and ideas, too!

While you are there…check out Craftsy’s new line of fabrics, Boundless,  gorgeous solids at a great price point!  (As you know, I LOVE solids–they let our creative free motion quilting sing!)

I hope YOU WIN!

TOMORROW–Have your Quilt-a-long fabrics ready-we’re going to start stitching!!

  9. Oh goodie! Thanks for the opportunity to win Lori. You are indeed a marvelous teacher. I finally unearthed my stencils and chalk pouncer and plan to practice more on one of my vintage machines (Singer model 301) next month.

  10. Excited about the new class! I just love to work and play with you in the lead! It is so satisfying to create something that will be loved by my family and friends. Thank you Lori!!!

  12. I have been afraid to do free motion quilting but your blog has got me excited to try. Looking forward to starting tomorrow! Thanks!

  13. So happy for you — look forward to this new class. My only problem….when I click where you say it takes me to Craftsy Classes — but NOT your new one “Doodles to Designs”. Searched for it several ways and just couldn’t find it. HELP!

    • Please try again. I just tested the link. Also the class won’t show up
In Craftsy searches until next Monday.

  14. Hope it is not too late to ask question RE chalk for Mystery Block. Any particular reason for chalk markers or is a Frixion pen not appropriate? In our rural area there are no quilt/sewing supply shops…would those chalk markers be stocked maybe in a “blue big box store” aka wallyworld ? Thank you…

    • Your favorite marking pen will be great! Wait to mark until tomorrow– I wrote out better instructions

      • Thank you..All is assembled….. waiting….and Houston is ready for countdown! 🙂

  15. I stumbled upon your blog one day and have been enjoying it ever since! I look forward to my inbox everyday! Congrats on another crafty class! You are a wonderful teacher.

  16. Congrats to you! Thank You for giving us a chance to win. I hope I win! I enjoy your Blog and the way you break things down for us still learning and want to learn :).

  17. Thanks for the lottery chance again for your new Craftsy class. Regarding the Quilt-Along … I am considering a self-binding by bringing the backing up and over the front to show off the nautical print I found in my stash. How much bigger than the top/batting would you suggest I cut the backing on this small project?

  18. Congratulations on a new class. I’m so glad there is a rewind button for slow learners like me. Must check out the new one.

  19. Lori,
You’ve put “Spring” in all our steps. Your classes are refreshingly original & because of your continued generosity we who so enjoy your tutorials feel like proud parents when the rest of the quilting world first happens upon your work.

    Thank you.

    • Thank you so so much! I know you’ve been there every step of the way encouraging me. I couldn’t have done any thing without my friends from The Inbox Jaunt!

  20. Congratulations on your new class at Craftsy. The doodling and examples will be so much fun. I enjoyed the first class and look forward to the new class. Thank you for your inspiration and fun tutorials and links to put our names in for a chance to win this fun new class.

  21. Lori, I am lost…I watched the first class; is there someplace detailing how to start; i.e. Prep work of the batting and sample, drawing lines for quilting. Seems I saw something in The Inbox Jaunt but do not see it now. HELP

    • Did you watch the first class or the first lesson?
We made a conscious decision not to repeat things from the first class, Divide and Conquer…so there is no “get started quilting” section. We dive right into motifs.

We'd LOVE to hear! Please reply...
