  1. I think that this is the sweetest piece you’ve shared yet. I can almost hear the two gurgling at each other. I enjoy all the Saturday artwork but this is my absolute favorite.

  2. This reminds me so much of myself, as my son was born when I was living in England. A good friend made his cradle, which was where he spent time when napping or watching me do needlework! I love it, as I do all of your seamstresses. Thank you.

  3. I don’t believe there is a mother alive who doesn’t go back in time when looking at this. Beautiful!

  4. I used to hang colourful pieces of fabric on the back of a chair to amuse my baby son while I sewed on my machine. Those memories came flooding back when I saw this gorgeous picture.

  5. “Pick me up, pick me up pick me up pickmeupppppp”
Gosh those babies are a lot of work.
I love this painting though. The colors are calm, nice.

  6. When my son was born, I feel I missed much of his daily growth–both physical and intellectual because I worked full time as a registered dietitian in acute care. My grandma passed away when I was very young so I never really got to know her. Now, I’m a stay at home grandma and I spend 4 full time days each week with my 3 year old granddaughter. I am so thankful to have this special time with her– teaching her about faith, hope, charity, traditions, love, warmth. And oh–she sure teaches me too. That’s what the look in that mother’s eye in the picture means to me. And life has come full circle with my son too. Treasured times….so much love.

  7. This artist has really got fabric down ! …and faces , …and wood carving…As beautiful as all that is, the spirit coming thru is the best! I really love this… on many levels.
