  1. Ann Petersen’s ‘Small machine, big quilts, better results’ helped me tackle my biggest quilt yet (72″x96″). I also have Debbie Caffrey’s ‘Cut it’ class and your class, but I haven’t found time to watch them yet. I think I have to give up gardening and curtain my quilt blog reading to make time to actually sew!

  2. I have both of Ann Petersons classes and refer back to them often. I love her just as much as I love your class and tuts.

Just a note. Last nite I was FMQ a lap quilt I had in my UFO’s and I think I finally found my “sweet spot” I have had trouble with inconsistent speed and control. I finally got the hang of it last nite. YEA!!!

  3. Lori, your class was my 89th class and I haven’t had time to watch a lot of it but it is great so far. Some of the classes that I have really enjoyed are, Stupendous Stitching with Carol Ann Waugh, Inspired Modern Quilts with Elisabeth Hartman, Sew Better Sew Faster with Janet Pray, The Classic Tailored Shirt with Pam Howard, Basics of Digital Photography with Rick Allred, and anything by Leah day, Angela Walters and Ann Petersen. Craftsy gives everyone an opportunity to learn at their own speed and it doesn’t matter where you live. Also being able to converse with instructors and other students is fabulous.

      • I only have 1 cooking class, Artisan Bread Making with Peter Reinhart. I have watched it and even purchased a nice kitchen scale because he does all his ingredients by weight by I haven’t actually made anything yet. Making bread should go nicely with quilting, I can practice my free motion quilting while waiting for the dough to proof 🙂

      • Lori,I have taken several of the bread making classes. The ones with King Arthur teachers are wonderful. My daughter wants us to go to Vermont and take hands on classes from them in our spare time”.Ha!!!Also have your class ,love it.I too hope to see a book by you some time soon.Thank you for your expertise.

  4. I have signed up but not taken your class yet, Lori. But I love anything Ann Peterson does and also Cindy Needham’s classes. Craftsy is such a great learning place, especially since you actually get answers from fellow students and the instructor!

  5. Debby brown has a class that is a very easy approach to FMQ….she gets us started with simple shapes and moves on from there….a real winner.
Cindy Needham’s classes are terrific…..very thorough with her explanations.
two of my favorite instructors :0)
I have your class and have watched through once….now to practice along with you.

    Happy Sewing

  6. I love Laura Wasilowski’s classes on fusible applique
Creative Quilting with Your Walking Foot with Jacquie Gering
Stupendous Stitching with Carol Ann Waugh
    Ann Petersen’s Classes
I’m just getting started with Lori’s class and my wishlist is out of control!
