Giveaway Winners and Other Goodies

Vintage Sewing

Thank you to all who entered The American Quilter Magazine Giveaway!

With followers all over the world…more than 125 countries…The Inbox Jaunt is celebrating more than 1,000,000 views!

Thank you for telling all your friends about us!   So glad to have you all meet here to share our common interests…

After hearing about YOUR lovely hometowns, I have a severe case of wanderlust!

The winners of The American Quilter Magazine are:

  • Sandra from Singapore-“No winter here, just sunshine!”  (I’m more than a little jealous…)
  • Kamila from Poland-“Quilting is just beginning here.”
  • Wendy from Tasmania, Australia–“The oldest town in Australia.”
  • Paula-Valdez, Alaska-“Incredible mountain and ocean views.”

I’m trying to think of a way to hand-deliver the magazines!  LOL!

Congratulations to the Winners–please send your address to my e-mail:

If you didn’t win this month…we will have another giveaway soon…Or subscribe to American Quilter Magazine…Or pick it up at news stands right now!

And as long as we’re playing hooky from our Monday chores and paperwork:

Take a jaunt over to Culinary Canvas-for a feast for your eyes–very creative.  (The turtle is my favorite–like Tommy the Turtle free motion quilting.)

If you need a laugh–especially yoga fans—from Buzzfeed…and my daughter, Olivia…

And soak up the color from Faye’s blog, Color Route Co

Then back to work…so you’ll have time to return

Tuesday is Free Motion Quilting tutorial day…

and a fun project on Wednesday…

and marking pens on Thursday…

Friday isn’t stitched up yet…

Also, next week “Working in Series…”

Can’t wait!

  1. Rosemary B here:
Oh they are going to enjoy those magazines!! Congratulations to the lucky winners this time!
I hope you have a terrifical week, Lori!

    • Congrats winners! I might have to subscribe…or travel to a bigger area to find it. Not one to be found in our one horse town. 🙂

  2. I am so glad you are going to talk about marking tools. I have a difficult time getting the chalk pencil marks off of my fabric. I use a BOHN white chalk pencil. I have tried the pens that iron off with heat. Sometimes those leave a light white mark on the fabric. Looking forward to Thursday. Actually, I look forward to your post EVERYDAY!

  3. Congratulations, Lori! That’s quite a milestone. And congratulations to the magazine winners, too. I just bought my copy and am enjoying it. I love looking at the winners in the quilting shows.

  4. Congrats to the winners of American Quilter magazine! I have a subscription to it so I did not enter and I am happy for them to enjoy it. I AM SO HAPPY YOU ARE GOING TO DO A TUTORIAL ON MARKING PENS – YIPPEE!!!

We'd LOVE to hear! Please reply...
