Introducing….Footwear Friday!

I love shoes!   I always have.   As I mentioned in a previous post, early in my girlhood, my father dubbed me Imelda Marcos (of shoe-hoarding fame) –and I own it!

Of late, however,  I find I can get a vicarious thrill from photographing shoes…This saves a lot of room in my closet, a lot of room in my budget and I can indulge in shoes I would never have actually purchased….

Please note:  none of the ankles or shoes pictured here belong to me…

Doodling-an Ally to Intellectual Thought

I have been busy finishing up a couple of group projects that I am not free to share for a few weeks, but I stole a few minutes away to add a few more doodles to my little wall hanging.  As you can see, I am not an expert at sketching, ah but that is the nature of doodling, and that is what makes it spontaneous…

Things that are on my mind…flowers in my garden…I love purses…I need to clean my house…

School supplies, Door County…grapes…

I added this flag in honor of September 11th…

Now if you’re still not convinced that doodling is more than a waste of time…Grab a cup of coffee and listen to this short TED talk on doodling….

You’re a Good Egg!

Scrambled, fried, poached,  deviled, souffled, soft-boiled, hard-boiled, sunny side up, pickled, basted, shirred….
